Forensic Engineering (accident reconstruction)
The BEC engineers represent a variety of engineering disciplines;
mechanical, biomechanical, biomedical, civil, safety, industrial, electrical, metallurgy and materials. This diversity enables us to reconstruct a variety of types of accidents; automobile, truck, aircraft, boat, train, bicycle, motorcycle, ATV, elevator and escalator, product, roadway design, electrocution, fire and explosion, slip/trip and fall and
more. Our services include investigation, documentation, engineering analysis and creating all types of demonstrative aids to support our engineering opinion in deposition and trial.
Research, Design, Development and Patent of Products and systems:
Benedict Engineering Co. researches, designs, patents and develops products and systems for the marketplace. BEC was recently awarded a major contract from Military Sealift Command to design and build a new selective discharge system for the Navy.
The company was also awarded an SBIR grant from the United States Navy to develop a Material Handling System for storing and retrieving materials in a warehouse or storage facility.
Our NuShore beach reclamation system, which has recently been installed in Okaloosa and Walton counties, is an alternative to dredging and is a system designed to naturally excrete sand and rebuild eroded beaches.
